Come to the Farm Table for a Spring Equinox Community Potluck

You are invited for Poetry, Storytelling, and Potluck as we prepare to welcome the Spring Equinox. Sister Grove Farm will provide chicken pot pie from chickens raised on our farm. We ask that you bring a side dish and/or a beverage of choice (wine, beer, soda) that is as locally sourced (to you) as possible. If all you can bring is an appetite, that's okay too!

At these dinners, we are committed to building community around the possibility of creating a healthier and more resilient local food system. Joining us to share some of their farming story will be Chuck and Molly Trowbridge of Prairie Farmstead in Sherman, Texas. We would like to know your story too.

Portions of our time together will be outside so dress for the weather. Check in at the Pavilion at 5pm (or a little earlier) to drop off your food. Then we will gather at a natural spring just west of the pavilion as we join with Earth and all of creation:

• in welcoming the promise of spring,
• in crossing a threshold into a new time – a time of light, of renewal and new growth, and
• in rejoicing at Spring’s reminder that after death comes rebirth. Always.
