About the event

You are invited to Sister Grove Farm for a Potluck Community Meal to celebrate and welcome the season of Spring - and let's have a meal under the largest American Elm in the state of Texas! This is a free, pay what you can event with all proceeds going to the care of the tree.

Sister Grove Farm will provide the main course dish with our pasture-raised chicken. You will arrive at the Pavilion at 5pm and we will transport you with your side-dish, dessert, and/or a beverage of choice (alcoholic or otherwise) to add to the community table.

As this event is scheduled on the week of the spring equinox, we will join with Earth and all of Creation:

in welcoming the promise of Spring,
in crossing a threshold into a new time – a time of light, of renewal and new growth, and
in rejoicing at Spring’s promise…
